My spoiled daughter

My daughter is always travelling to various cities! She drives my car more than I do! She'll be like mom I need the Car from Friday until Tuesday!!!! Every week!!! She put's on more Kilometers on that thing than I ever have! I pay for the car, and I'm like who pays for all of your trips? She's like my boyfriend! Their summer is already all planned out her and her boyfriend are meeting up with her brother for a few RAVES! They rent out Air B & B's and party like rockstars! On the other side of the province! Like 10 hours away! And they do this every year, then after that we as a family are heading to Ontario to visit my husbands brothers it's a 3 day drive from Alberta! My carrrrr! Everyone is putting on so much milage on it! I pay for it, and they drive it into the ground! Especially my daughter...I'm not complaining, I'm just saying she's here she's there she's everywhere! I wish I could go to the city too, just for fun!

Could she maybe get her own car? Better yet, sell her yours for enough to have that one paid off and get yourself a new one. 😁

If she's traveling 10 hours multiple times in a year, she should be renting a car for those trips, not putting excessive wear and tear on yours.
It would be one thing if this was a one time thing or for reasons related to perhaps her education or career advancement, but it sounds like it's all extra curricular entertainment. That isn't fair to you. She's taking advantage, you don't deserve that.

NO. Is a powerful word.

Have you tried that oh so powerful and liberating two letter word? She'll find another way to go and leave you to enjoy your investment.

It's good when our children find activities and events they can safely enjoy.

But relying on free usage of somebody else's transport to do so is unfair and unrealistic.

Maybe your daughter needs to be told to factor in the expense of using her own method of transport before planning her trips because mum has plans of her own.

I'm sure she's worth it..

One weekend it would be nice for her to offer to take you to a city . . as a thank you for the free transport 🙂

How old is she? At some time the umbilical cord must be cut!

She could pay you for using it or buy her own car.
