Meeting with the school

Well this meeting didn't go as I thought.
Turns out my daughter was one over 37 children this teacher emailed about hair issues. I was assured my daughter hair didn't break any rules and wasn't causing any issues with other students. The teacher was been placed on leave pending investigating. So I was stressed out for nothing. He also said he was glad I didn't cut her hair because 3 of the parents that got her email did infact cut their childs hair. So there it is.

Thanks again for all your input and support on this.

I do wonder what caused the teacher to do this. He said she's been there for years and has never done anything like this until this year.

What!? 37!?!???? That's insane. And 3 did cut it? OMG I'm livid and it's not even my kid/my school system
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M

Firing the certain faculty ain't the solution. You can sort it for The staff member too with the help of other three parents. She might be in need of counselling for certain of her issue/s.
@Cigarguy101 A simple appreciation letter for the way she teaches, if only, you have been looking through closely.

@Lyfis2live I've done all I can. I don't know her like I said and I can't really speak on if she's a good teacher or not. but I fear the parents of the kids that did cut their kids hair will cause her to loose her job.
. @Cigarguy101 It doesn't take much to know a teacher's worth. Just check your kid's notebooks corrected by her & meet some old staff teaching the same subject. If she is strong in her field, speak for her, only if You are willing.

I'm glad you've got the issue sorted satisfactorily 🙂

Everyone can make mistakes and it sounds as though this teacher has made an error of judgement, perhaps resulting from stresses of her own.
Sounds like stress has pushed her to the edge, which is understandable, I guess.

Hope she gets straightened out.

But YOU are [big]HERO DAD![/big]

@Mamapolo2016 lol wow that is sweet of you. But most days I don't feel that way.
@Cigarguy101 With kids, most days you ask yourself if you're doing this right.

Try instead to tell yourself "I did THAT one right!"

@Mamapolo2016 yeah she would of been crushed if I cut her hair. I feel bad for the 3 kids that parents did cut their hair.

Why does the school have anything to do with a student's hair?
Justme264 · 70-79, M
@ninalanyon agreed.... we downsized (dad's job move) to a smaller house in a long long avenue.... private houses on end and council and prefab houses the other.... bit of an eye opener... even at my age then.
Justme264 · 70-79, M
@Sharon as does the,dept of education i feel

@Justme264 Yes, anything to shift the blame from themselves.
What was the problem with her hair?
@Cigarguy101 WTF? What country is this?
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
@LeopoldBloom US apparently.
@ninalanyon Time to call the ACLU.
The teacher needs to be fired, they obviously lost their ability to keep their sanity and should not be around children whatsoever.
Cigarguy101 · 41-45, M
@NativePortlander1970 she's been suspended pending a investigation
