How much are you like your father?

Quite a bit about me, is like my father. The best parts, and the not so great sometimes, parts. I miss him every day.

Our values are quite close, partly because we spent a lot of time discussing them. Our hunger for knowledge is the same. Our love of family is the same. Our reluctance to show affection is similar. We just don't look alike.

I have his mechanical skills, but not love for beating on women and children

We are polar opposites... But he taught me by example and I learned and did the complete opposite, figuring I knew how to avoid being wrong that way. And while there is often more than one way to be wrong, it worked out pretty well..😷

Couch time

I get my frugality, saving habit, joking-around and tidiness from him.
He can draw too but I didn't get that talent

I’m soft spoken like him ..but he held in pain .. which is something I do as well but I try to have an outlet for that

i have his temper. aside from that we're nothing alike.

To answer your question, I’m much like my father personality-wise. Quiet, mild-mannered and gentle (but looks fierce) and with a similar deadpan sense of humor.

Mom once spoke to a friend of both of us: "Two of the kindest people I know. But don’t make them angry ! I blow up, and then I’m good, but they’re that ‘quiet furious’, much scarier !"

Somewhat like him and I hate it

Every decision I make I think of how my Dad would have decided it.
