The old lady who lived next door to me when I was wee had an upright piano in her living room, and I loved to plink away on it. I must have made a horrible noise. If only I'd been taught how to actually play the damn thing!

@PunkRockSuperStar lol I'm sure she enjoyed listening to you play it anyways! Old ladies love spending time with the kids next door

@adobo lol I like your username! And yeah there are some weirdos out there for sure, but that goes for any social media, people just have different comfort levels with the sort of things they post. I have some friends who post their kids on Facebook daily and others who would never even share their kid's first name online. Even though this website can really be safer than other social media because of the anonymity factor, I probably won't post her very much for that reason, I realize there could be creeps scrolling on here who come across it and we don't want that. Just thought this was an adorable moment to share 🙂

And if she doesn't become the worlds greatest musician, she'll just be another parent's disappointment? Maybe she won't care about music at all. Your future musician?
angoranimi · 26-30, F
@Allelse lol no wtf 🤣 if she grows up and doesn't care about music then she doesn't care about music 🤷🏼♀️ parents shouldn't have expectations for what hobbies, talents, interests or anything their kid will have, that's entirely up to the kid! You can't force another person to take an interest or lack of interest in something. Making music is one of her favorite things in the world right now, she's obsessed with piano and drums, we play together every day and it makes her happier than anything 🙂
