It's actually a blessing that I never could have kids

Because I do NOT subscribe to the modern way of "parenting".

My idea of parenting is to teach the child how to be a functional adult who has both common sense, humility, and coping skills. Not to carry them around in a protected bubble until they're 38 years old and can't do anything for themselves. Kids NEED to see things outside of a perfect Disney-esque world. They SHOULD see their parents be affectionate with their partners- how else are they going to learn what constitutes a healthy relationship? Kids are not made of glass- they can do chores and have responsibilities besides their homework.

Yeah, I'm glad I didn't have kids, because the world has become really fking weird about how to raise them.

I totally agree with you. Too many people these days are raising a bunch of pansies. That overly protective version of parenting doesn’t actually do anyone any favors, it makes people weak and unprepared for the harshness of the world.

Yeah and when you raise your child unconventionally people treat you like a twat. It doesn't matter what you do, someone always has an opinion and the limits of their experience that they cast onto you. They don't even know you and assume you're trash. As if parenting isn't hard enough, someone is always picking at you one way or the other.

@DearAmbellina2113 I'm fucking with you. You learned some tricks from your narcissistic mom and you make rude, degrading comments and when I give it back you act like I'm the one behaving like a boo boo baby 😂

I've tried to be supportive of you, but straight up girl. You're a mess and someone should tell you. You're all over the place. One minute you hate the people in your life, the next you love them and brag on them. You make snobby comments about things you don't understand.

Like look we could be friends. We have a lot in common because I've paid attention to what people post. But you just can't stop belittling people then playing like I want your dick because I said something.

You play games to suit YOU. And that's something we DON'T have in common. I've tried in the past to be kind, but you ignore me or low key insult me. It's fine if you don't want to be cool, your choice, but I'm not fooled by your victim mentality. You're ungrateful and kinda hateful. Your tone suggests you know it all. You only know what you know, you don't know anything about life, just your little fucked up version of it that you think made you all wise and knowing. I'm not buying it.

Idgaf if you hate me, lots of people do, but sometimes you're mean and I'm sick of bully ass people trying to knock people down like they were knocked down. Grow up.

@SW-User You are literally the ONLY person here who seems to have a problem with me. Which is fine, we can't please everyone. But don't come in here acting like you know SHIT about me or my life. I vent here about certain things in my life, and I am always open to questions, but your first mistake was assuming that you know me because of the sliver of me you see here.

Also- I have never been rude to anyone on SW who didn't get rude with me first. Check your records. If you don't like me, fine. But to keep goading my posts and trying so hard to get my attention... well, it's weird.

I wish you luck, and I don't want to continue to argue with you. I'm sure you're a perfectly nice person in real life. But here? Kind of a c*nt. Block me if you wish.

You were raised like us older users. If you had kids would you send them to public schools for drag queen story time and gender training or would you home school them?
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Musicman I wouldn't send them to public school, but not because of drag queens (which are harmless). It would be because of active school shooters.
