Food? Oh, how quaint. No, I’ve been stockpiling something considerably more important: industrial hydroponics equipment, water filtration systems, grow lights, fertilizer, seed banks, and enough replacement parts to keep an underground agricultural facility operational for several decades.
After all, the apocalypse would be a rather inconvenient time to run out of test subjects. Fortunately, with a sufficiently self-sustaining underground facility, I could continue conducting experiments indefinitely while the surface world sorts itself out.
And if the survivors happen to develop a thriving little underground civilization? Wonderful. More generations of test subjects.
I do hope the power grid survives. Rebuilding a civilization from scratch sounds tedious, and I’d much rather spend my time testing.
I'm not quite this bad ,but if you looked into my freezer you might think so I'm still not used to only cooking for myself . I had three people in the house and my daughter got housing right around the time Paul died. So I keep freezing leftovers and even when I make small amounts of freezer jam or canned soup or something it's too much for one person. It always looks like I'm expecting company or something.
😆 Currently listening to several 'experts' telling UK folk about 'open A:I models for biotech warfare coming to a town near you soon that Putin and Trump and loads of people you've never heard of are threatening the world with....theoretically
@Nimbus That's pretty much my assessment. World leaders are hating the fact that there's so much freedom of expression and people daring to demonstrate their rejection of 'rules', 'laws', 'Presidential orders' etc. and they have no control over anything.
@Lilnonames I found two pillow cases full of weed in a different abandoned house, I was only in the third or fourth grade, I took it to the older boys down the street, they yanked me in the house saying get in here.
