There is a rumor going round that death row inmates at that facility try to cheat the executioner by not eating or drinking several days prior to their execution. That causes their veins to shrink.
IF...and I do mean IF Christa Pike is not brain dead after all of this, then the State should grant her stated wish to be hung by the neck until dead.

It may not have been unsuccessful in the long run. It may sound sadistic, but I actually hope she's consciously aware and suffering.
