I knew at an early age I never wanted to have children. My parents were horrible people.

I wanted children at an early age, but if I could turn back time, I wouldn't have any.

Kids were always something I wanted, couldn't stay pregnant so we fostered and eventually adopted three of our foster kids. It's been an emotional rollercoaster but I wouldn't change anything, they are my world 🙂

I didn't plan on having children, or not plan on it. I think in my mind it was part of being married and yep, it was😁

Apparently men really enjoy intercourse which incidentally is what causes babies to form. I didnt have anything else planned for the next 18 years. I gave every bit of myself to trying to raise a good kid. None of that was planned but life happens.

I suppose the idea of not having children never occurred to us. We wanted a family, ideally a son and a daughter. That's what we got. The only decision was when to get pregnant. That didn't go according to plan, but it turned out better than we planned.

We adopted . . primarily to give two girls who had drawn the short straws in life a bit of a chance.
