Everything was a luxury to me back then. A home phone. Hamburger and hot dog buns. Eating out, even if it was fast food. Heat and air conditioning. More than one pair of shoes. The list is long.

@JimboSaturn Yeah that’s so true. Almost everything. As a child, I dreamed of luxuries I couldn’t have. Now that I can afford them, the joy no longer exists.
