Mozart, but those other guys were pretty good too....😂
Also, Debussy, Dvorak, Rachmaninoff, Mahler Stravinsky, Ravel, Vivaldi, Saint Sans....
Each have such amazing music....
I can see how Bach would be a favorite - his music is so lyrical and accessible, especially if you love keyboards.

I've probably listened to more Bach, but I suppose I prefer Beethoven as he's more emotional. But I really prefer the Russian like Stravinsky, etc.

I can't choose a favorite between Bach & Beethoven.
I love Bach's Cello Suites, Brandenburg Concertos and Goldberg Variations.
And I particularly love Beethoven's Sonatas for Cello & Piano and his Ode to Joy.

I like music from all of them, but in terms of my favorites my top three are Debussy, Ravel and Rachmaninoff.

@MsSwan my son’s second favorite is Mozart. I think just to mess with me.

If I had to pick just one, it would be Bach.
But I love Mozart for the operas and choral music.

Bach. I love his bass-cadences.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@Matt85 His bass writing is how I came to discover/enjoy classical music. Both Felix Pappalardi and Jack Bruce -- my favorite bassists -- spoke in interviews how they loved Bach's bass lines, so I went out as a teen and bought myself a set of the complete organ works of Bach and that started me on a lifetime of listening to classical.

Bach, but I like all of them.

Bach for me. I love the Baroque period in music. Bach is more than a genius or prodigy....he is a musical God!

Imo the only thing Bach has going for him is the Brandenburg Concerti. Other than that: Beethoven every time
SnickersDOM · M
Beethoven, just for the choral 9th symphony alone
