The answers are what i figured, but i was amazed by a couple.

AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
You're strength.

You are employees, bosses, providers, role models, teachers, handymen, lovers, protectors, you are responsible for entire families, confidants, therapists, you are stay at home dads, cooks, cleaners, life coaches, accountants, you wear so many hats. I love being your rib, always being at your side. You are supermen but yet you know when to be Clark Kents and be vulnerable. I well never understand how you guys do but I am so thankful for all that you do . You carry the world on your shoulders.

FreeSpirit1 · 51-55, F
Two guys can get into a loud, intense argument, even yell or shove each other, and then be perfectly fine and laughing together 40 minutes later. We often find the speed at which men can drop a grudge and move on amazing . We hold grudges for silly things. I’m not saying all men, and it’s actually admirable.
Nimbus · M
@FreeSpirit1 So that's a positive thing for men?
Mellowgirl · 31-35, F
You say you want a wife and a family. But the moment you are required to step up and be the leader for your new family you make excuses.

You are obligated to do x y and z for your parents.
You're obligated to help your siblings.
You're obligated to keep up with the boys.
You're too tired to actively participate in raising your children.

At what point does your new family become the priority?

When do their needs become more important than anything?

No one's telling you to stop having a life or being a part of your relatives, just know that your new responsibility is the family you created.

@Mellowgirl Excellent 👍

Why they can't just sit in a moment without needing to give advice, create solutions or just not listen. How can one make meaningful connections if everything is either transactional or a job?

@FoxyQueen I've not read it to be fair but that is one thing someone told me from it! Men take it on to problem solve thinking it's their job. I'm not saying that is the correct thing for a man to do by the way.
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@ironborn doesn't mean that it is a true thing to say though. Grey has zero training or education on anthropology, psychology or sociology.
SlippingAway · 46-50, F
Why they think it's okay to treat you like an emotional punching bag and then expect you to okay with it.
Carissimi · F
@SlippingAway That’s abuse, and you need to give those types a wide berth.
Nimbus · M
@SlippingAway Oh my! 🙁
gregloa · 61-69, M
Their mama 🤣
Nimbus · M
@Shybutwilling2bfriends lol, but that is a fact! ;)
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
How clueless they are,at times,about what hurts us.
Magenta · F
@Justmeraeagain Defo this!
Nimbus · M
@Justmeraeagain Why is this though?
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
@Nimbus I still have the opinion that we look at things differently men and women, I mean.
🍿🥤 Just in case this gets interesting ..
Nimbus · M
@BrandNewMan Enjoy!
Lilymoon · F
He grabs his coat and leaves when the argument isn't finished. 🤬
how forgetful they are on short notice, they remember they need to pee, put the toilet seat up but then forget to put it down once done
Nimbus · M
@saragoodtimes Oooops!
It's far too common.

@4meAndyou Sadly, far too common.
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@4meAndyou Women do it too. 🙁
4meAndyou · F
@cherokeepatti Thankfully, I have never hung out with those women. Ew.
Bleak · 36-40, F
Why do men think that they are the best decison makers??
Bleak · 36-40, F
@BrandNewMan Perhaps. I’ve just seen a lot lately that shaped that view — it wasn’t meant as a blanket statement.
@Bleak A lot of society seems overly sure of their position on various things and decisions based on that these days .. perspectives of what are right vs wrong decisions as well
Bleak · 36-40, F
@BrandNewMan I couldn’t agree more with you.
AbbeyRhode · F
Why they do dumb things to impress their friends or women.
Ferric67 · M
@AbbeyRhode @Nimbus very good point
cherokeepatti · 61-69, F
@AbbeyRhode You mean Jackassery.
Magenta · F
@AbbeyRhode Indeed. Especially on social media.
