My story. What happened.

My parents separated when I was 16 My mom then dragged me along with my siblings into a foreign country. You can say kidnapping more like it. She was chasing dih from an illegal Mexican who got deported. Well, we ended up stranded there for about 3-4 years in Mexico City. When I came back to the u.s I was behind everyone my age. Robbed of my education and I never learned how to drive. Now at 30-something, idk how to drive or get a car. I've driven a vehicle before, but I end up getting nervous. I want to get myself a car and start driving. My mom judges me yet she never taught me any life skills. I'm not embarrassed to say this about my life or my story. If anything I was robbed of a normal teenage upbringing. I just want to be normal.

Well...WOW. You definitely have been through the wringer.

It's interesting you'd mention driving. In my own driver's education course (here in Mich; I took it later than others, as driving up and down the main street had never seemed to be amazing to me), there was a girl who had never even been on a riding lawn mower, and it showed in how scared she was about driving a vehicle.

I had experience on some riding lawn mowers, and it seemed that it helped me.

So I suggest you find someone who would let you cut their lawn with their riding lawnmower, and tell them why. Just be honest.
@disturbedchicken Riding lawnmowers are like this

@SomeMichGuy I don't have any access to those kinds of riding lawnmowers. But I see what you mean.
@disturbedchicken The ones you walk behind (though they usually are self-propelled) are more dangerous, though they tend to have a special "smaller handle" which has to be held against the handle as its own safety mechanism.

But they are definitely more dangerous, you are again right.

You have good safety instincts. Trust them.

You aren't alone. My parents hated me so much. They have never wanted to spend money on courses and training on me. I didn't know to drive a car. I had very little qualification. I struggled a lot with life and the job.

I am lucky now that I have got a husband who supports me all these years. I have got my qualifications but I still don't like to work for people.
I have the best way to earn by betting in stock market. This is the best self-employed work that I have ever had.

Sorry your childhood wasn’t great. Mine wasn’t either. I grew up without a dad. If I wanted something I worked for it and got it. My mom did the best she could.

@disturbedchicken
Again sorry for your trauma but you need to figure it out and move on by the time you’re 30. How long do you need 40 50?
disturbedchicken · 31-35, F
@gregloa Easy for you to say. Just be quiet right now. Telling me to move on and coming on here to dismiss my story. Your generation is all about dismissing feelings because things were so easy for you back in 1942.

@disturbedchicken
🤣 1942 huh. I’m not quite that old. I’m just offering friendly advice that’s all. Sorry didn’t mean to offend.

In our current society it is so hard to get ahead if you start from behind. It's definitely an uphill road to acquire life skills. It is fortunately not an impossible one, but there are certainly difficulties along the way.

How many houses was u evict from because your mom drank the rent money and u had to sleep in a van
disturbedchicken · 31-35, F
@lilylovesgaming1986 None but that still doesn't dismiss the fact that she destroyed her own family while having a midlife crisis at 42, and she cheated on my dad with an illegal Mexican.
