It seems to be all too common, your story. Is there no father in your life or siblings that will congratulate you on your marriage? I hope you can get to a place where you believe that you do not have to accept the cruel things people say to you.
It's not the same thing, at all, but I have a nephew who is a narcissist and I eventually cut myself off from him and my life got a lot more peaceful.
