According to Google a million people are without electricity due to hurricane Beryl. Tomorrow is supposed to be 99 degrees fahrenheit in Houston. No electricity means no air conditioning or refrigeration.

@WintaTheAngle You need to change your quote since the Houston area is more like a swamp than a desert. Houston is the "Bayou City." Still, if people can't deal with hurricanes and tropical storms, they probably need to relocate.
