The happiest day I've had in a long time was yesterday on the golf course with my buddy. It was my first time out after surgery five weeks ago. I really enjoyed it.

@exexec good for you, how did it go?
exexec · 70-79, C
@samueltyler2 Great! I'm taking it easy after back surgery, so I just hit wedges inside 100 yards. No full swings.

@exexec that is all I did the first year after surgery. I hit chips off the tees.

@samueltyler2 I had L2/L3 and L4/L5 posterior spinal decompression and it went well. I plan to keep hitting it softly for a while. No drives for weeks. I am mowing the lawn and doing other things.

@exexec unfortunately, my neurosurgeon was afraid that with just decompression,naka disk surgery and spinal luminal widening, my back would be too unstable, so he put in 2 rods and 9 screws. I am better, but there is still limitations and pain.

@samueltyler2 I was fortunate to not need any fusion or other actions for stability. I know that I tend to rush things, so I'm trying to take it easy..

@exexec lucky you!
