do not try that response, it is not the rate of deaths per attack , that is a false way to look it is total number of deaths that matter. It is the number of people no longer in the workplace, no longer at the dinner table. if you want to use a comparison, do so, but look at the number of excess deaths from the virus, not the percentage of those suffering and dying. Today, with appropriate antiviral therapy and enhanced ICU care, fewer people are dying. But, if you don't catch the viral infection you won't need such therapy and or die.

Do you carry a note to any physician that may treat you that they should just let the disease take it's course, because it is just another virus?

Do you realize that with roughly 1.5 million deaths from COVID, that results in one out of less than 300 US citizens died from COVID! there are deadlier diseases which are incurable & have a higher percentage of people infected dying & thats what im refering to
1 death is toooo much but thats NOT the factor which makes a diesase deadly
look @ it this way .... if you catch something & 99% of the infected survive regardless of that number its NOT deadly
but if everybody who catches it dies then its a deadly disease
