BettyBeez literally saved my life once...

I don't usually open up about my life, seriously. but I have my daughter with me this weekend and this little girl always brings out my sentimental side...

a few months back, last year, I was going through some things, mentally and professionally, and I was not handling things maturely. Beez noticed it. Beez notices more than you think (take notes!). so, she got me to speak up. and I told I had been overdosing on pills/medication. Beez was pissed! "Think about your kid; think about yourself!"

and she stayed on me, from miles and a time zone away. hell, I don't even have people within reach who care that much; hell, I even put our friendship on the life for that. took some time, but I got clean and am in therapy because of that little rugrat.

Beez may not be the reason why I'm not dead; but she damn sure made me open my eyes to see the mistakes I was making, and kicked me so hard in my ass that I just had to fix them. now that's what you call a friend; that's what you call family.
