It’s really nice that you both have rekindled the closeness you had at home. Enjoy your times together. :-) dc

I'm reading between the lines here, but it's no-one elses business what you and your sister get up to. You're obviously both mature adults, and so long as you both agree to it and no-one's getting hurt, just let your hair down, do whatever feels right, and enjoy yourselves.
At least two of your kids are supportive and I'm sure in time, the others will come to accept it. Both my parents are still alive, but in the same situation, I'd be more than happy for them to do what you two are doing. My Dad has three sisters and my Mum has an older brother.

@RichLizzie Thanks for your input Lizzie. We have three kids to win round - my youngest daughter who currently takes every opportunity to tell me how disgusting she thinks we are, and my sisters two youngest sons who, according to my sister, are gradually "coming round to it". So thanks for your support.

Nothing wrong with that my sister and I have been intimate.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@Ozdharma May your family love last for years

Too many narrow minded people around David. We maybe old but we still need a bit of fun in our lives, and holidaying on your own is no fun. I hope you shared a room? It's a heck of a lot less expensive than paying for two singles. 😉
DavidW · 70-79, M
@HubbyB mortified. It was her idea to register as husband and wife to save embarrassment.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@DavidW that is so interesting. Did you have that relationship growing up?
DavidW · 70-79, M
@samueltyler2 In younger years, yes.
Being friends with one’s sibling is wonderful. But it sounds like some sickos here are encouraging incest. Sorry, that’s just disgusting.
DavidW · 70-79, M
@bijouxbroussard I think most understand.

I wanted to heart this post but something is off there.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@SW-User in Judeo-Christian societies, this is incest and unaffected. But, that can be said to be related to the production of offspring. At their age, whatever give a them happiness should be accepted. Who are they hurting. At my age, I think differently that when I was more youthful.
nativespirit · 61-69, M
Enjoy yourselves and don't worry about what others say
PTCdresser57 · 61-69, M
My sister who is 10 yrs younger than me have the same type relationship...Best Friends.
We are very much alike and made a pact that if our spouses die...we will have one house and live together.
DavidW · 70-79, M
@PTCdresser57 We've discussed living together but not quite there yet. That's a big decision to make.
Just lost my most treasured brother. Use every minute you can get together. It is your time to enjoy all your precious moments. Don't listen to anyone.
DavidW · 70-79, M
@mondayschild2 So sorry for your loss, but we're doing just fine, thanks.
Justme264 · 70-79, M
Given what you both have been through... do what you feel... at ohr age I think we should be able to don't you?
dontbekoi · 36-40, F
Oh gosh, that sounds so nice.

I am really happy for you 😊
DavidW · 70-79, M
@dontbekoi Thank you!
bhatjc · 46-50, M
Have you two become lovers as well or just very good friends.
Fluffybull · F
That's nice ❤️
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
So sorry about your loss. I hope your kids can accept your new relationship.
Human1000 · M
How anyone could find your relationship with your sister objectionable is beyond my comprehension. If you were the same sex no one would blink an eye.
DavidW · 70-79, M
@Human1000 I agree!
Ben052003 · 18-21, M
I didn't even know you had a sister!
DavidW · 70-79, M
@Ben052003 Yes, but she doesn't live locally.
