That person was hurt … you should not listen to an angry hurt person unless they are trying to keep you from HURTING others. It’s a battle of words and she probably had it said to her. We learn how to speak by listening to others. It’s tragic she has heard that and THEN it’s also tragic you had it directed at you. You know there is a certain insecurity in everyone that makes us feel unworthy of love and care. I wish I had a magic wand to erase that memory. It was a sad and horrible thing. May you replace that by counting your blessings: what you do have. 2 eyes, 2 hands? 2 feet? Just be thank for for that every day. Replace the ugly words with what you are grateful for.
