how often do you dream about deceased people that were a part of your life?

Rarely dream of them but on those nights I can't sleep i often remember and have questions I'd like to be able to have asked them

Yes but very rarely. I had one not a long time ago. My grandfather was sitting by the kitchen table like he used to, I was aware he was supposed to be dead but it was a family gathering and I thought to myself that him being there is a natural thing and he shouldn't be missing.

only got two dreams featuring my dad after he died. in one he was helping me deal with my mother's death, who is still alive. when i woke up, i was totally discombobulated. glad i got to see him again, though. as far as my brain's concerned, it was completely real

Yeah I dream of my mother and sometimes my brother.... but in the dreams I never know they are dead. We're just talking like everything is normal.

They are visiting you. Pay attention to what they say or what is happening in the dream. They might be trying to give you a message.

I don't usually but I had a dream about my son recently. It was astounding.

What I've come to realize is that life itself is "The Dream", not the dream we dream at night when we're asleep. Those nighttime dreams are therefore 'dreams within an active dream that we are living', though we are sleeping when those secondary dreams come into our mind.

I've had vivid dreams about my deceased grandfather who was 99 when he passed, but the images I see of him in my nighttime dreams are from a time when he was about 60 and still full of life. He never shows up in my dreams as the very elderly, very frail senior citizen that he'd become over time.
