how often do you dream about deceased people that were a part of your life?

i often dream have dreams where one or both of my parents are in them. i think to myself "but you're dead" but they are in my dream as though nothing happened...do you get theses dreams?

I've had vivid dreams about my deceased grandfather who was 99 when he passed, but the images I see of him in my nighttime dreams are from a time when he was about 60 and still full of life. He never shows up in my dreams as the very elderly, very frail senior citizen that he'd become over time.
