Today I Learned...

Today I learned that steam can easily trigger a smoke detector.

I was cleaning my bathtub and when I finally got to rinsing it, the smoke alarm in the hall started buzzing.

I then found out it was the steam from the hot water I using to rinse the tub that was causing the smoke alarm to buzz.

Happened to me once also. Alarm is directly outside the bathroom door.
Showering with the door open, the alarm was activated.
Since then I shower with the door closed.

@Gusman That's where my smoke alarm in my house is located, too.
