My Uber driver was an old white man, and that in itself is fine.

However, about 1 minute into the ride, he asked what I do for a living. I told him I work with passport agencies. Well, that did it, that triggered his fragile little self.

He immediately went into a speech about how this country has gone to sh*t since "tHe iLLeGaLs", and how easy it used to be to travel internationally just by "throwing the border agent a $20 or a Playboy mag". 🙄

Soooooo, not wanting to touch that, I changed the topic by asking him about his Uber driver experiences. He made a Star Trek reference about the miracle of GPS, and I gleefully told him that the costume theme at my workplace one day next week will be Star Trek. He asked "Oh? What will you dress as?" I said, "I have a red Star Trek Original Series dress like Lt. Uhura wore."



Then he actually said, "Too bad you can't do blackface anymore."

Sir please let me the F*CK out of this car, and I WILL report this to Uber asap.

Between this and the callers I had at work today, I believe there is some horrible bad juju in the air right now!!! ☠
