I've studied to be an electrician, just changed career in the course and switched to software development later on
I forgot pretty much everything but I think if needed I can figure out fast how to fix things, climb the ladder of power, gain the trust of the Supreme Electrician and betray him/her while they sleep

I live in an area where there are lots of Amish ,they live quite well without electricity. They depend on each other not on devices that depend on electricity

I would have to find another job – I'm a programmer, and a technical writer... 😐
ToLivePeacefully · 31-35, M
I can't as of now.
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
I could, but I wouldn't want to.

Sure, I lived without electricity for like 7 or 8 months when I was kid.

@HumanEarth I could go for an uninhabited island in the south pacific. Make fire, catch fish, see the stars!

When I was in my 20s sure. I would even move there.
Now with a aging body thats starting fail, knees starting to give out.
I wouldn't last long, maybe 5 years under the best conditions

@HumanEarth Doing it as a child and doing it as an adult are two very different beasts.
