If you were with someone for 10 years, and had 3 children with them, and they told you that they didn’t love you enough to marry you.

I would say "That's ok. We are already married .. just that we are not wedded officially. And there is no need for you to love me, as we have already made 3 children. So just go and register the marriage. No need any wedding"
