@BlueVeins For reference, it was Houari Boumediene. He died due to a rare form of cancer, some sources say he was actually poisoned by Russia. Who knows! He had few bad and incredibly biased takes in retaliation to colonial influence , and was unfair to us Amazigh and our multi-identity that doesn't fall with panarabism, but I agree with his emphasis on agriculture and wealth equality. He did love his country.

When he died, he didn't have more than a single salary in his bank account. And he had zero assets. And none of his loved ones were given any wealth of preferable treatments while he was president.
