If you're not in the mainland of USA or a remote US state/territory do you get into halloween in any way, shape or form?

I'm not into it at all.

Australia is not a US territory/state.

Halloween is a big thing in Canada (we’re not a U.S. Territory…yet)

I’m in Canada. We celebrate Halloween here. Kids wear their costumes to school on Oct 31. Different venues around town have Halloween fun days for kids, haunted houses. Malls have indoor trick or treating. Many people decorate their homes. Also regular trick or treating at night Oct 31

In the UK / Ireland we started Halloween / Samhain, the Americans adopted it and made it far too commercial. They then re exported it.

I like but not the commercial bollox that comes with it.

I'm in UK. Halloween is a thing, my local supermarket even sells giant pumpkins this time of year.

Like Black Friday we got it from America. We don't have thanksgiving - yet :)

@JonUK31 Ick I forgot about the 'Black Friday' bs just before Mas-X.

@JonUK31 I think it really caught on again after ET!

No, I live in Central Europe and it's not a big thing for people unless perhaps you have friends who are into it or attend themed parties. There were some attempts, you can see carved pumpkins in yards but it has never been a big thing here. Trick or treating has never been a thing at all, as long as I know. All Souls' Night is much more ingrained in our culture and there are actually problems with traffic as people move across the country to visit cemeteries. And you can see how cemeteries are all lit up and pretty at night.

You’re not into Halloween? It is the most sexually charged holiday of the year!!!
Muthafukajones · 46-50, M
@butterflybaby75 Halloween is a huge party in Canada and the United States. Many of the women wear delightful sexy naughty and cute costumes and there are parties everywhere. It’s wonderful!
butterflybaby75 · 46-50, F
@Muthafukajones Never ever had anything like that occur here.

@butterflybaby75 Well it’s fun.

Does nothing for me. My 7 y/o daughter is interested in it so I've let her do halloween in her room but I won't have any halloween-ism on the outside of the house.

No never have. It's Halloween 24/7/52 anymore it seems like. Ghouls and goblins everywhere.
Nevertooold · 56-60, M
