@Lulujeans 🤔maybe just a friendly gesture but be cautious all the same and monitor there line of question .maybe i come over cynical and suspicious there are a lot of good people in this world do not get me wrong but there are also bad ones too judge them wisely

Oh, I hate this. It's not a part of my culture. This only passes when it's an old person and you somehow assume they are lonely so they talk to just anyone. Otherwise the person is automatically suspicious.

Of course not. People often don't know/can't rationalize every single decision they take during the day. Plus it's a weird question to ask out of the blue anyway. That alone is no reason to be suspicious.

I do that here. Some teen pretending to be adult contacts me out of the blue. I could ignore but instead immediately question what's your interest in an old man like me.

I wouldn’t ask that. But I’m suspicious of anyone who chats me up for a random conversation anyway, friendly or no. I don’t mind it as much when it’s at a social setting like a bar or something, but just randomly out in public, I really don’t like that. I’m just going about my business and not really geared for idle chit-chat.
