if someone perceived you wrongly, would it make you angry

if someone perceived you in a false light, in an untrue way would it make you angry or would you simply correct them?
Matt85 · 36-40, M
I'd be cool, calm and collective. Anger gets me nowhere...
I know who I am and what some person thinks about me doesn't matter to me. If thats what they think then I dont have any need to be around them.
I trust people who I know and who know me. I dont know where someones bad opinion of me makes any difference in my life.

Anger achieves nothing. If you are that concerned about the false perception, it is your responsibility to correct it.

I would simply run away from him and disappear and make every single guy act like they are me to make him live in his imagination of the false light he created about me, where he will never know how lucky he was, because no one deserves to be with a woman who understands a human being when no one understood her but rather keep judging nonsense. Only the one who deserves is the person who doesn't allow others to treat a woman in a disrespectful way.

No, let them think what they want, I know what’s true and the people that care about me.

Speaking as a guy working in social care for the last 35 years, yeah !
I find even today, i have to justify my 'worth' in a field dominated by a largely female workforce more often than i'd like.
Often by people in positions far senior than mine for far less years than i've been working.

no, happens all the time.
It doesnt effect me at all because i dont put any value on most peoples opinions in the first place, certainly not when it comes to myself. People are free to think what they like bout me. It means nothing
I've tried correcting, I've tried having self righteous anger and neither served me. People will believe what they will and my anger doesn't change anything.
So I now leave them to their perceptions and let it go.

I will ocassionally try to explain, but I'm losing patience for the snap judgements and I just don't care. People can think what they want. They usually don't listen anyway.

Correct Them...if they continue to bark then leave'em alone and move on...

It makes me angry BECAUSE nothing I say or do will change their minds about me
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
I might not care at all. It depends on whether or not their beliefs affect me.
Not if it was just one person but if it was everyone than I might.
Iwillwait · M
Not sure anymore. I'm just too tiredto care.

Most times now they would not listen to the truth
