On a cosmic scale all lives hold the same value and that is none. As far as humans are capable though, the animal lives have less value.

I believe we should treat animals more humanely than we do especially the ones in our food supply (horrible conditions), which is why I don't eat meat any more but I would put a human life before an animals if I had to make a choice.

Well...I eat certain animals, and when my cat had inoperable feline cancer I had her put to sleep. I would not do those things with a human child, even if I legally could. So while I consider animal lives valuable and worthy of respect, I admit I see a difference.

I don't think all animals are equal, no... I know that's horrible, but at a certain point, would you rather shoot a chimpanzee or step on a beetle? There's a different in sentience, as far as I understand.

But personally, I'm a vegetarian because I don't believe in eating meat for myself, and I'm working on cutting out dairy too. (It doesn't agree well with me anyway).

I know in just being a human I am pretty much a part of habitat destruction and the woe of many animals smaller (and larger) than me... but I'll do what I can to lessen it.

There is like this reset button on Earth I don't know how else to describe this without dumb debates i'm not interested in doing. But eventually one day every single thing will die and then be replaced by better or worse. Technically I would say it probably doesn't actually matter. But do I care for Animals yes do I care for people yes do I put one above the other I could but not really they're probably both of equal value they both live on this world and without some animals need us we need them all that crap.
