Could Extremely Lucid Dreams actually Be Alternative Realities?

I'd like to think so, even though I cannot "prove" this of course. I have the most amazing, full-colour, 3D, surround sound, tactile dreams imaginable. They're coherent, consistent, and have the same laws of physics as this world. I never have those stereotypical dreams where people report flying through the air, walking on water, or walking through walls. If I ever did, I'd instantly know that I was dreaming, and wake up straight away.
Quite often the dream will be so nice, so real, and so much better than this world, that upon awakening I'll instantly regret that I couldn't stay over there permanently.

I wake up feeling the same way at times. But from what i know about psychology and dreams is that dreams are part of our subconscious. Though, a dream itself, i wouldn't classify it as reality but in some way you have lived it somehow. Also, being a christian myself, i believe God can interact with us through dreams (very rarely) but this would be a form of reality if it did happen.
