Do you believe that dreams have meaning or not and why?

Im sure that they do but i just dont know what the meanings may be. My oldest brother died from a medical condition. He lost several friends due to violence. So i had a dream one day that all of them were knocking on the door saying let us in. I was peaking through the peephole. I had been to all of their funerals. And my phone was ringing in the dream so i anwered it. It was my brother and he yelled into the phone "Open the door! " And then i woke up. It was creepy. I have no idea what it meant.

I do!! I don't know why I just feel like they do. Sometimes it's very hard to find a meaning or some are very direct but I believe they all mean something even if it's just subconscious feelings

I do believe they have meaning because I've seen people predict shit through dreams , however not all dreams have meanings and not all people dream meaningful dreams

I'm not settled. I don't recall my dreams and if at all only small brackets.

Sure, but they are likely part of the side effects of our brains doing maintenance, so not like people sometimes think.

Perhaps they reveal some themes of the subconscious, but cloaked in imagery of the conscious mind, apparently.

Dreams always have meaning. Divers elements inside the one dream often points to the one and single issue. In one dream one can be thus telling oneself that it's all right... just sing along the song... get the devil off your back

Sometimes they're relevant to current hopes and cares, sometimes they're just your brain defragging and sometimes it's both, or alternating between throughout the night
