how isolated of a life do you think you could handle?

e.g if you had all your basic needs set and could be relatively sure about things - food, water, housing, even to some degree entertainment (like you could have movies, books, media in general, but nothing for live interaction)
could you have perfect isolation? an island with nobody but yourself?
a very insular community? smish like?
small town?
region?
metropolis?
the world is not enough?

Many people say, "No man is an island" I say BS to that. I could easily live out the rest of my life never having to talk to another person.
Plonk me in a cabin in the bush, near a river and I will survive just fine.

@Gusman I had a lot of that in my youth. perhaps too much.

Ummm well...I think I could handle it for a lengthy time bc I enjoy my own company. BUT I love , love and that pesky emotion makes me seek companionship

@XxBlahxX relatable, I think.
i lived that way for like a decade. i'd be fine. you learn a LOT about not only yourself but others when you have time to reflect like that.

@DancingStarGoddess yeah, I suppose it can work that way.

I could. I'm.used to solitude. It wouldn't bother me. I find ways to entertain myself. Life would be amazing.

@AngelUnforgiven I like to think I could... I'm not so sure anymore.
it'd certainly be easier with at least a small band.
