That feeling where you love someone so much

But you know you have to stop because they aren’t good for you or they have betrayed you or whatever the case

I hate this feeling

I understand that feeling
You can still love them ...just from a distance...
You may always love them and that's ok as long as it doesn't end up destroying you ...doesn't mean you stop loving them ...you just may need to remove them from your life to keep your sanity

@catastrophecarnival or need to stop loving them to save my sanity lol..
@Notsimilarreally unfortunately it doesn't work that way ...you can't make yourself unlove someone...anymore than you can make yourself love someone....all you can do is separate yourself from them ...whatever that may look like to you . Separate as much as you can and focus on other things to distract yourself

@catastrophecarnival *sigh* I know.

I think we're all glad that you can see that they are no good for you! Many people I bad relationships either never see it or don't have the courage to move on...

You know that I know what that's like all too well. I hate it too and wish I could just shake it and make life so much easier for me. Hope you're able to someday, at least.

I had an ex like that. Even all these years later I wonder what we would’ve been like had we stayed together. However, I’m better off.

Been there myself and it is terrible. Especially if you have children in common.

For me from past experience betrayal stops love quickly and turns it into hurt.
Eventually you'll be able to move on. It'll happen. You'll be ok. You'll make it the choice to be.

Yeah, but it's probably my fault

Yeah, it's the worst.
