I used to go walking in the night too, with my minidisc player
but definitely I will say people should always be careful, taking into account the kind of area they live in, especially a young woman like you.

You are very lucky . I used to do that to all the time never as a teenager because the neighborhood I lived in if I stepped a foot outside MyGate I'd have never come back. But in later years in my late 20s and early 30s I would walk around the new neighborhood my parents lived which wasn't too bad but I'm still surprised I'm alive. I used to walk through a park at night Where later they found out they were doing pagan Rituals and also found a few bodies in the park. Meanwhile I was walking around with my music on always alert and aware but feeling i Invincible and I wonder how invincible would I really have been if I was ever approached. But I will say there was a quietness a stillness I often like to stand still and listen to The Breeze in the trees. But I also got followed by a vicious dog pack. A possible son of Sam copycat killer. A few crackheads. Some homeless people that later may have been linked to a death in the park. Probably came close a few times. I'm thankful for my street smarts. Thankful I've been smart enough to get myself out of situations. And later in life realize it's not worth putting myself in them. I can sit in the backyard and watch the trees. Or on the front steps right in the safety of my home. If anyone has seen those ring camera videos It's pretty scary to think that that's what's walking outside at night.

In graduate school there was a large forested hill on campus. I walked around it so much I learned the paths by heart, so was also able to walk them at night, so I often did. A few times I came upon what sounded like deer, scattering from me. I also heard a lot of creaking trees. I could barely see the paths before me.

Yeah in high school my favourite places to hang out at night were usually golf courses and cemeteries xD Usually with other people though. Or the woods. If I was alone I'd just walk to the local park.

That's been me lately.

I found it easy to find my neighborhood deserted at night. I enjoyed watching the lampposts with the active insects surrounding the light. Dogs loved finding a reason to bark.

Same!. I used to go to the beach with my friend at 2am and we'd just talk about anything. They're really happy memories

I still do that even now, i guess its my escape from the world yet still in it.

I used to ride my bike around my neighborhood for the exact same reasons.

🤔.....In 6th - 9th grade, my friend and I would take turns sleeping over at each others houses on the weekend and we would sneak out at night around 12:00 - 1:00pm. We would be out for several hours.....

I used to do that too but I live in a small town, not LA you crazy girl lol

I lived in the suburbs of SF and I never did that. Haha I did used to do satanic rituals at that time at home
