What advice would you give to your younger self ?

I would tell her to be thick skinned , to always stand up for herself and dont take anything personally. I would tell her not to waste her money , invest and save it , make memories , not waste it on material things. I would tell her Not to give up on her dreams , even if nobody believed in her. Dont send nudes or trust strangers online. Be kind to your friends , dont talk bad about them behind their back , say it to their face if theres an problem , and nothing in the world or nobody is ever worth hurting yourself over or ending your life over 🌸 I learnt an lot , there is too much to mention , Its better late than never

Make mistakes! Stop being affraid to make mistakes... you learn from them and they help improve you, so go out and make mistakes and learn and improve from them, don't hide fr them.

Also, force yourself to go out and learn the art of mingling more.

And stay in better shape...learn to love to exercise.

@Viper I love this

I think about this often. That would be an essay...

Let's just say I was right to be scared for my future as a child.

@GeistInTheMachine I hope everything has improved in your life

Don't go back to Canada. Don't ever, ever take antidepressants. Stay away from alcohol.
thepeculiarpanda · 36-40, M
@SW-User Nothing wrong with Canada per se, but the relationship I had gone back for ended up falling apart in a really serious way. 😅

@SW-User We had dated for three and a half years long distance through high school. Once I got back up there, I realized that we didn't really have anything in common anymore. Suffered through that year of school and then ended up breaking it off and moving home.

That's when I ended up on the antidepressants too. A couple of years later I made the stupid mistake of quitting them cold turkey and ended up disabled.

I would say make the most of each and everyday. Spend as much time as you can with those you love. You don’t know how long they will be around.

To stay far away from certain people I'd meet in the future. To do what made me happy and to not blame myself for things I had no control over.
To save money for our pension.
To save money to help our children.
VTDestiny · 22-25, M
I'd tell myself to be nicer to people and not to make anyone paranoid of anything.
HowtoDestroyAngels · 46-50, M
Not to take that first drink.
I would be more chill and easy going.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
I wouldn't dream of interfering 😊
luckranger71 · 51-55, M
Bet on yourself
Dino11 · M
Keep it zipped up or marry them.

{@holliwood] some what you say is true if only you could put an old head on young shoulders.it would have been a lot different if i had thick skin when i was a kid and stood up to bullies
Ducky · 31-35, F
I’d tell my younger self to go to hell.
