People in the United States...how do you think Joe Biden is doing so far?

I think he is doing pretty good, so far. It's thanks to him that we have been kicking COVID-19's butt.

I guess he's certainly kept away from the media more, but honestly he's just another career politician. Nothing impressive, just going with the status quo.
Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, FVIP
[@1195228,pattycakechamp] I suspect it's not that he keeps away from the media, more that he doesn't court it actively in the way Trump did with his constant tweets sharing everything, regardless of whether it should be shared
Go look up the usual political posts, should pretty much give you an idea. Why would it change coz you add a disclaimer?
[@940086,Dan88411]
Not the point. You'll already know what user think he's been doing a great job under the circumstances, and what users will be thinking the opposite way about it. There are no surprises. It's an irrelevant question in my honest opinion, it won't add anything new or any deeper layers to the division already existing.

[@414209,SapphicHeart] I get what you are saying. I think that there are good people on here though who are capable of having an adult discussion. It's not many though, lol.

You honestly think anyone will change their mind coz of this post and the replies given? This far I haven seen one surprising comment, or a comment that hasn't been said before.
ProfessorPlum77 · 61-69, M
On a scale of 1- through 10, I would give him a -17.

[@539720,anythingoes477] Is this Hunter? Or Barak?
[@673904,ProfessorPlum77] All Republican men sure seem to be obsessed with those two men. No wait...3....Bill Clinton too. And every Republican man I talk too or read about loves Rump to the point of gay man crushing on him. 😆 Strange bunch. Just sayin'.... ever try a woman for sex?
ProfessorPlum77 · 61-69, M
[@539720,anythingoes477] I am not a Republican. I am not gay, but you are. "Not that there is anything wrong with it." 🤓
GhostPoncho · 46-50, M
He's doing fine.

I'm pleased thus far, in general, and thrilled he's not a media troll.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
He is a party hack and corporate stooge who will do what he is told to do and will accomplish nothing. But a thousand times better than Trump.
AlienZipper · 61-69, M
For the record, the reason why we have these vaccines so quickly was due to Operation Warp Speed, which cut through a lot of red tape. Biden had nothing to do with that project.
Stumbling, bumbling, mumbling…he’s a moron. But that’s not my opinion, here’s the latest proof:

[@7167,Adaydreambeliever] And by the way, this post was for people in the United States, which is not you. So not only are you a hypocrite but stupid as well. There’s the door stupid. Let’s see if you know how to use it.
justanothername · 51-55, M
I don’t think he was ever expected to be a stand out President in any way. If you had asked voters which of his policies appealed to them when they voted most would have given you a blank stare. People voted because they were sick of what was happening with the racial dividend that Trump was encouraging. They also voted for Biden because they didn’t want Trump.
Dan88411 · 31-35, M
[@539784,justanothername] You are probably right about this.
justanothername · 51-55, M
[@940086,Dan88411] Biden’s task is not to make great changes it’s to repair all the bridges and alliances with other nations that Trump was bent on destroying in his goal to make America an impenetrable fortress to the rest of the world.
SweetMae · 61-69, F
It is the most difficult job on earth.
Dan88411 · 31-35, M
[@10109,SweetMae] Very true. No man can do it himself.
SweetMae · 61-69, F
[@940086,Dan88411] They don't. They can't. They have a lot of pressure from many directions. I don't feel qualified to judge any president. I can state the decisions they make I don't agree with however.
I’m happy with him and appreciate that he’s focusing on helping the people and doesn’t need to troll social media like his predecessor. The right-wing is so desperate they’re reduced to going after his son for attack points.
mrlopez · 26-30, M
I'm not a fan of Joe. I don't think highly of him nor of his son but he is our president.

There are flaws that he needs to fix, but overall he has done a pretty good job.
Virgo79 · 56-60, M
He's sure done a good job of uniting the country,as he said.

Truth is, ISIS is still alive and well and the US military is pulling out of Afghanistan just to prove it!

But Dr. Seuss is definitely toast as evidenced by not one single shred of evidence to support that green eggs and ham still exist on American streets since Joe won.[/c]

[@332402,swirlie] isis will be back to visit soon☹️

I'm not disputing your opinion that [/c]thanks to him that we have been kicking COVID-19's butt. [c=008099], but in all honesty, how can you think that Covid got it's butt kicked when the Covid-Delta variant is sweeping across the entire USA like a grassfire on a windy day and is completely out of control?[/c]

well ihave a different opinion so i hope it works both ways, right? he is horrible. he did nothing to put the covid procedures in place. the man can't speak a coherent sentence.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
He's not great, but he's a step above Trump. I do admire that he recognised the Armenian Genocide though.
Xicsukin · 26-30, M
As a man from across the pond I see it's gone from a major shit show down to a moderate piss take.
Hopefully it goes down further, to a mild russling of the jimmies.

I think that what the USA is dealing with when they hired Joe Biden to put out the garbage, is a Democrat version of Donald J. Trump.

Biden merely ran with Trump's playbook and used from it what served Biden's agenda, while discounting any fluff that Biden couldn't actually use himself.

The Prime Minister of Canada once publicly referred to the USA as it's next-door neighbor as being like "crawling into bed at night with a drunk elephant lying beside you". That sort of says it all, don't you think?

Joe Biden is currently thought of by that same government body, as being "a snake in the grass", someone you cannot trust because he's way too much like Trump in terms of personal integrity (or lack thereof).

If that doesn't reflect on how the rest of the world views the United States right now, let alone how the world views Big Joe himself, then America's own perception of itself which of course includes Big Joe, is actually quite irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.
