Just before I rested under the honky Nut Dropping Tree I espied a Kookaburra going back and forward to this Dead Marri Tree Trunk. On closer perusal there was a Kooka feeding it's Chick. Chick was hidden from view at the bottom of the tree hollow. I will continue to visit this hollow,(wearing a hard hat) in the hopes of seeing the Baby Kook emerge

Kookaburras are great Aussie birds. They are called the Bushman's Alarm Clock. Their "Laugh" is to tell other Kooks to stay away. "This is My Territory" [media=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p9HqvXy7wkc]
