If he lost your trust he has to earn it back. It takes time and it's completely up to him to earn. That's why you feel the way you do. He hasn't earned it back yet.
It's definitely not your fault and you don't have to do anything or feel guilty for it.

If you can't then don't. Forcing it will just shorten the lifespan of that 'trust'. He ether instills trust or he doesn't and if he doesn't you should listen to yourself and trust that feeling. IF you feel strongly that he deserves your trust again then nothing but time will heal the wound.

Nor can you control it. It may lessen with the passage of time and trust may return if he continues not to “do anything.” Up to you whether he’s worth the risk of that possibility.

He’s violated your trust once . Tell him
How you feel . He gave in to lust ? And you can’t really love a man you you can’t trust . You’ll never feel completely comfortable when he’s out of your sight ? That’s pretty tough to have a meaningful relationship with that baggage . And it’s not your fault ! A woman needs to be able to trust and live unconditionally .

If he hasn't done anything then why do you have trust issues with him? Are you neglecting to mention that he cheated on you once? We might need a bit more background.

If you want to regain trust, that is a mutual road, start by being open to him instead of here? Let yourself be vulnerable

If there is no trust, then you know the answer already. You just want us to confirm it for you.

He needs to regain your trust....but to do so, you need to have some measure of trust in the first place. You have to trust that what happened before was an error in judgment that he doesn’t intend to repeat....and you have to give him enough rope to either hang himself or bind your relationship back together.

Trust is kind of a blind thing. Either you trust someone or you don't. They can change that.. you can't tho
