What was the last holiday shopping nightmare you encountered?

It was years ago when I was a truck driver. I had been out on the road for most of the holiday shopping season and didn't get back until Christmas eve about an hour or so before the stores closed. I rushed in to pick up last minute gifts...and most of the shelves were practically bare. Not much to chose from and time was running out...I think I settled for the worst gifts I'd ever given in my life that year.

My first job when I was a teenager, working as a cashier at a grocery store on Thanksgiving day. A never ending line of people with a box of stuffing or two cans of cranberries... the stuff of nightmares. 😦

Once a very long time ago my sister and I wanted to see what Black Friday was like at Walmart. We walked in saw all the chaos and walked right back out

Over 15 years ago went to Walmart to get a few groceries before the store closed on Christmas Eve and the end of the lines at all of the registers were winding all the way back into the clothing department....customers moaning, sighing, complaining, etc.

Amazon sent all my stuff to the wrong person

Going to London as a treat around Christmas and trying to get on to Oxford Street - everything completely packed, almost impossible to move. Gave up in the end.

The last time I holliday shopped in a store about a decade ago.

I haven't. All has been good so far.
