Once a very long time ago my sister and I wanted to see what Black Friday was like at Walmart. We walked in saw all the chaos and walked right back out
@SW-User Yeah my sister was always into it and would brag about going, I didn't have the $ 40 years ago. When I did have some money I went and was disappointed about how many lines going out the door before the stores opened that I left and didn't even try to park my car

@cherokeepatti We had just seen so much hype about it we wanted to see what it was all about and I can confidently state now it's not worth effort. ,😊
@SW-User It was made in 1952 & the machine came with a lifetime guarantee, still runs. I'm the third-owner, the first owner used it for upholstery work, the second owner mostly to hem & mend jeans...rugged machine.
@SW-User Solid metal, heavy to lift, even the portable ones, which I have one made in 1948...just got it rewired...wanted a cabinet and something easy to flip open and work on. I'll still use the portable one, on nice days in the sun room.
