I love it when somebody asks a question, you put effort to answer to all the points nicely and thoroughly

then they make no comment on your points but ask a completely unrelated question. Like I have no problem with you agreeing or disagreeing with me and you can keep your opinion to yourself or express yourself freely, but I get the vibe you disagree and want to lead the conversation somewhere that will only make you look right. It's so sneaky and makes you look uneducated, without the basic reading comprehension skills. Next time just be honest with what you are looking for from the beginning, and be sure I will answer in the manner you deserve.

There's definitely a culture of that here. I often wonder why people even bother commenting if they're not offering anything to the discussion or if they're just going to make themselves stand out for some reason. Even when they do disagree, sometimes they can't articulate why they disagree and just insult you instead which makes no sense either.
I think there's a lack of accommodation for freedom of opinion and subsequently a lack of will to have a decent conversation even about things people don't agree on.
By the way, definitely appreciate that this was under the label "Pet Adoption and Animal Rescue." Very nice touch. 😁

@HannibalAteMeOut Yeah it's a sad statement on the integrity of conversation. Historically you could exchange ideals back and forth and regardless of whether or not you agree with the subject matter, at the very least, it helped you establish a better idea of the kind of person you're talking to. It's up to us to carry on having respectable discussions and conversations! 😁
Good conversation skills definitely do help with animal adoption and rescue. Otherwise how else would the operation coordinate itself? I found a convoluted work in. 😁
