How many days per week should a beginner ideally practice yoga?

I’m new to yoga and want to build a consistent routine. As a beginner, how many days per week should I ideally practice yoga to see real benefits?

I started after hip surgery, I am as flexible as a 2X4! Noticed a difference almost immediately! Not so much with flexibility, but with peace!!
