Did my 7th session of yoga tonight 🧘♀️
I had another hectic day, so my yogi sister taught me how to practice meditation this time. It took some time but I entered a meditative state for the first time. At least I think that’s what it was. Had a feeling of total calmness and peace, thinking nothing but positive thoughts to bring on positive emotions… All while contorting my legs in a full lotus pose, lol. It was like finding a medium between relaxing while also putting my body to work. I gotta start doing that more often! My sister tells me it’ll get even better the more I practice. Almost like getting a natural high. If that’s true, then I’ll definitely be practicing meditation a bit more! 🤸♀️
