I Love Yoga

I often start my Hatha or Ashtanga yoga sessions with the Corpse Pose (Savasana). When I relax my spine and allow it to decompress, I often feel a pleasant tingling sensation in my quads for about 30 to 60 seconds. Does this happen to anyone else?

I do not recall ever starting with corpse pose. It could be interesting.

I have found that the corpse pose first helps me transition from everything else worldly to focus on body awareness, pranayama, and mind calming. I usually end with that pose too. Worth a try at least once ....
