Wtfff I was walking the dogs but I just came home, because some guy followed me around in his car

He drove past, I saw him staring at me, and then he drove around the block.

I happened to see a friend and stopped to talk to her. I saw him look at me again from his car.

Thought it was weird, walked toward home.

He pulled his car into the parking lot and sat, then as I was walking by he pulled out to follow me, and said out of his window,

"Do you have pants on?" (I'm wearing tights, shorts and a coat that comes to mid-thigh).

I said, "Yes..."

Him, "I just thought it might be pretty cold."

I shook my head and walked away. It's not even that cold today, also wtf

Guys really need to learn respect.

@DunningKruger I don't know why interactions like that always make me feel shaky. I hate being stared at like that and followed
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@caccoon It is creepy and threatening.

Guys should examine their potential behavior and how it might be perceived before they do something. Unfortunately, there will always be those like this guy who sees a pretty girl and gets all stalkery.

I'm sorry this happened to you.

@DunningKruger it's okay, I am kinda used to it I guess. But yeah it does shake me up when it happens and I wish it wouldn't.

Maybe I am going to start walking around in a trex costume or something
DunningKruger · 61-69, M
@caccoon A trex costume?

In an ideal world, you wouldn't have to have become used to this. Unfortunately, you're pretty and sweet looking, which brings out the worst behavior in some men.

@DunningKruger at least I have the protection of a giant loaf

And yeah, it totally sucks, and can make me feel pretty paranoid at times. But the truth is we can only make decisions and take actions for ourselves... and men won't cchange, so...

@caccoon As Margaret Atwood said, "Men are afraid women will laugh at them; women are afraid men will kill them."

Take the dog, but take the pepper spray, too. I would hate for you to wake up in the back of a van covered in duck tape.

@DunningKruger Yeah, I think I am going to get pepper spray, and hope I never have to use it
