@Nimbus It’s 108 F. Right now and hasn’t hit the high yet. Yeah wildfires are more prevalent when it’s really hot. Did it set a new all-time record today there?

@Nimbus what would you be doing if you had no a/c? Hanging out in a pub or what?

@Nimbus the low this morning was 72 and it felt like paradise compared to yesterday. I watered the plants outside and did a little yard work> Then about 109-110 this afternoon. I would love a week or two of highs in the mid-70’s.

@Nimbus about like me yesterday at an Amazon discount store. They had dozens of long tables piled up with merchandise, you have to dig and sort through it all to find the bargains, I got 71 things.

@Nimbus yeah some people were saying that they were tired and gave up looking. But that’s how you find the bargains. Today everything was reduced to $1 each and tomorrow 50 cents. I paid $2 for each item. On Sunday a car dealer that I know bought a car part for $3, it is something needed to control the automatic windows in cars and he said that part costs $350 in auto parts stores. Each day the prices go down but a lot of the more expensive stuff has been sold the previous days. I found some things I had been wanting to buy on Amazon and glad I held off, also 14 bags of coffee, a lot of gluten free food items, other food items, some health stuff, and household items. I spent 3 hours total and the store got pretty warm before I was over. Next time I am bringing a jar of ice water in my purse.

@Nimbus I might go back tomorrow, it’s 50 cents day. They had hundreds of packages of masks, I don’t wear them but someone else wanted some and for 50 cents for a big box or package you can’t beat that price. Might be easier to sort through tomorrow since it’ll be more picked over.
