I had my first Qigong session this morning
It was a pleasant surprise how nice it felt to get up early and be active almost straight away. I also discovered my body is still more capable of proper posture than I thought despite all its deformities. It felt really good correcting that for a minute or two. 😌
It's very intense to keep up for longer than that though, even the first step alone: stand with your knees slightly bent. I naturally stand with my knees locked to bear my weight, so putting most of that on my muscles all of a sudden is heavy. 😬 And keeping your arms up for 5 minutes? More like 90 seconds with great difficulty.
I do believe I can expand this with more training though, and knowing how good it feels to stand correctly, even for a short while, I'm going to continue trying. Thanks @Boeing for hosting this and encouraging me to join!
