Anyone know any treatments for a torn shoulder?

I’ve been putting it off for months but slamming it against the wall doesn’t help anymore so I’m out of ideas.

Surgery, know someone who suffered for over a decade and decided to get it repaired, a lot scar tissue had to be removed probably because he waited so long.

That sounds very painful - in my humble opinion seeing a doctor and getting advice and scans on it would seem a reasonable start?
