Are humans Apes? If not, why not? Are humans animals? If not, why not?
Some religious folks believe that humans are special creations and seem to get offended at the idea that humans are indeed animals but can they explain why humans should not be considered apes or indeed members of the animal kigndom?
There are people on this site who are smarter than me....you are not among them. And to demonstrate that fact, let's watch you completely fail to engage meaningfully with subject:
What taxonomic system do you feel can be consistently used to classify organisms but which excludes humans from kingdom animalia and family Hominidae?
@Pikachu Thank's for that..lol I tend to think of myself as a temporary coalescing of karmic energy that has no unifying centre. With no homogeneous being..no pilot at the centre of the meat vehicle! Thoughts without a thinker..if you will.
Actually, humans are classified as apes in biological science.Biologically, humans belong to the family Hominidae, which is the group known as the great apes. This group also includes chimpanzees, bonobos, gorillas, and orangutans.
@Pikachu Every class of animal has its own shape, mode of locomotion, diet, etc; but all have those in their own ways; which was the point the lesson was making.
Well that's what i find silly when people try to exclude humans from other animals because humans are so smart or we make art or this or that. We're so unique....well so is every other animal lol.
Humans are currently the most intelligent life force on planet Earth. All othe organisms are subservient to humans. Of course other organisms can kill humans but that does not mean that those organisms are intelligent like humans are.
